Call for Applications – Graphic Design Competition

The Directorate General of Treasury, Financial and Monetary Cooperation (DGTCFM) announces the opening of a national competition for the design of its new official logo. This initiative aims to provide the institution with a modern visual identity that represents its missions and values.

Eligibility Conditions

This competition is open to all residents of the Republic of Cameroon aged at least 18 years, regardless of professional status.

Eligible applicants include:


  • Professional designers and graphic artists

  • Students in graphic arts and design

  • Any creative individual with the required skills

Competition Objectives

The DGTCFM seeks to adopt a logo that embodies its core values and reflects its strategic role in managing public finances and financial and monetary cooperation in Cameroon.

Evaluation Criteria

Submissions will be evaluated by a jury according to the following criteria:

1. Relevance to DGTCFM Values — 30%

The logo must coherently and relevantly convey the mission, values, and institutional identity of the DGTCFM.

2. Originality and Creativity — 20%

The proposal must demonstrate a distinctive creative approach while respecting the conventions of a public institution.

3. Clarity and Readability — 20%

The logo must ensure excellent readability at all scales of use, from small to large format.

4. Technical Quality of Submitted File — 15%

The professional quality of the submitted file will be evaluated, including resolution, format, and compliance with graphic design technical standards.

5. Adaptability Across Different Media — 15%

The logo must be functional across all communication media: official documents, digital platforms, signage, mobile applications, and promotional materials.

Awards

The winner of the competition will receive the following distinctions:


  • Official Adoption: The selected logo will become the official visual identity of the DGTCFM

  • Financial Reward: A financial prize will be awarded to the winner

  • Certificate of Recognition: An official certificate attesting to the winner’s contribution will be issued by the DGTCFM
