The Directorate General of the Treasury, Financial and Monetary Cooperation (DGTCFM) welcomes Mr. SEBDOU Jean, appointed Management Controller of Programme 232 by Decision No. 0000723 of the Minister of Finance, dated 26 June 2026.

This appointment follows a recruitment process launched on 1 April 2026 by the Director General of the Treasury, Financial and Monetary Cooperation. The process was based on a rigorous selection procedure, comprising written examinations followed by interviews with candidates who qualified for the oral stage.

01 Academic and professional background

A Treasury Inspector serving in the Directorate of Public Accounting, Mr. SEBDOU Jean has a diverse academic and professional background. He is a graduate of the Institute of Economics and Finance (IEF), the Regional Training Centre for Financial Administrations of Central Africa, Treasury option. He also holds a Master's degree (M2) in Accounting and Finance from the Faculty of Economics and Management of the University of Yaoundé II – Soa, as well as a Master's degree in Private Law.

His career has also been enriched by several continuing education programmes and study trips carried out with the support of Expertise France, helping to strengthen his skills in areas related to public management.

02 Responsibilities in his new role

In the context of his new duties, Mr. SEBDOU Jean will be responsible for supporting the Programme Manager in:

  • Budgetary steering — ensuring sound planning and execution of the Programme's budget;
  • Performance monitoring — tracking indicators and measuring progress towards the Programme's objectives;
  • Achievement of assigned targets — contributing to the delivery of Programme 232's stated outcomes.

The success of this mission will also depend on the mobilisation and collaboration of the various action managers, who are called upon to contribute to the monitoring of indicators and the achievement of the Programme's objectives.
