2026 CLASSIFICATION OF PUBLIC ENTERPRISES AND ESTABLISHMENTS: THE NEW ORDERS HAVE BEEN PUBLISHED
By Orders N°0000015 and N°0000016/MINFI of 13 August 2026, countersigned by the Prime Minister's Office under N°002297 and 002298, the Minister of Finance, Louis Paul MOTAZE, sets the classification by category of Public Enterprises and Establishments in Cameroon based on performance achieved for the 2022, 2023, and 2024 fiscal years.
Issued in application of Decrees N°2019/321 and N°2019/322 of 19 June 2019, these orders shall take effect as from 1 January 2026 and shall be updated after three years, in accordance with the applicable regulations.
1. KEY POINTS: PUBLIC ENTERPRISES
In accordance with Article 11 of Decree N°2019/321, Public Enterprises are classified into 5 categories, which determine the remuneration, allowances, and benefits of their managers.

- To ensure better transparency on the performance of public entities
- To objectively set the remuneration of corporate officers
- To strengthen the monitoring of the State's portfolio by the DGTCFM
The orders shall be registered, published under the urgent procedure, and inserted in the Official Journal in French and English.
