
đ Abong-Mbang | The building housing the Finance Office of the town of Abong-Mbang in the Eastern Region officially opened its doors on 2 October 2025. This took place during an inauguration ceremony presided over by the Minister of Finance, Louis Paul MOTAZE, accompanied by regional dignitaries such as the Minister of Public Service and Administrative Reform, Joseph LE, the Governor of the Eastern Region, GrĂ©goire MVONGO, and all the administrative, religious, traditional and military authorities, economic operators and all the regional staff of the Ministry of Finance.
đą The Abong-Mbang Finance Building is a two-storey building covering an area of 1,183.36 mÂČ, comprising 33 offices, meeting rooms, security systems and solar energy systems. It was financed by the Ministry of Finance’s 2023 investment budget at a total project cost of 828,628,432 CFA francs, with Ets NOUMBO GERMAIN acting as project manager.
đšđČ This new structure is more than just an administrative building; it is a living symbol đĄ of the national construction project led by President Paul Biya. The Finance Building is a landmark of modernity and efficiency, facilitating public services and tax management for citizens, while also aiming to meet the infrastructure needs of the MINFI in the Eastern Region.
â The new building in Abong-Mbang, which puts an end to the disparity in services observed in the city, will house various essential financial services for greater cohesion. In addition, MINFI mentioned several construction projects underway across Cameroon, emphasising the importance of responsible and fair financial management.
