Louis Paul Motaze and Yaouba Abdoulaye commissioned
Appointed by Presidential decree no. 2018/191 of 02 March 2018 to reshuffle the Government of Cameroon, Louis Paul Motaze and Yaouba Abdoulaye, were commissioned into their respective functions as Minister of Finance and Minister Delegate to the Minister of Finance by Philemon Yang, Prime Minister, Head of Government on 6 March 2018 in Yaounde, in the Deliberations Room of the Ministry of Finance. To the new appointees, the Prime Minister recommended teamwork, a sense of government solidarity and respect for higher authorities. He also asked them to focus on the general interest and to address the major challenges in order to ensure social progress and prosperity in the country.
At the helm of the Ministry of Finance, Louis Paul Motaze is swapping with Alamine Ousmane Mey to the Ministry of the Economy, Planning and Regional Development, while Yaouba Abdoulaye replaces Elung Paul Che, appointed Deputy Secretary General at the Secretariat General of the Presidency of the Republic.
