Cameroon is actively participating in the 16\u1d49 Colloque de l\u2019Association Internationale des Services du Tr\u00e9sor (AIST<\/a>)<\/strong>, un rendez-vous majeur qui se tient \u00e0 Abidjan, C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire<\/strong>, du 15 au 19 septembre 2025<\/strong>. Cette \u00e9dition se d\u00e9roule sous le th\u00e8me \u00e9vocateur :
\u2018What does the future hold for Treasury processes in the light of digitalisation?\u2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A key objective: defining the main thrusts of a coherent and sustainable digital transformation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the heart of this gathering lies a major ambition: to define the main axes of a coherent, sustainable digital transformation<\/strong>, adapted to ongoing technological, economic, and societal changes.
This vision aims to modernize Treasury services<\/strong>, making them more agile, transparent, and accessible, while taking into account the rapid evolution of digital technologies and the expectations of citizens. The goal is to build public financial systems capable of effectively responding<\/strong> to these challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

29 states mobilised around innovation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

No fewer than twenty-nine (29) countries<\/strong> are participating in this international colloquium, highlighting the importance of cooperation among financial administrations<\/strong>. The event is held under the presidency of the Prime Minister of the Republic of C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire<\/strong>, a testament to the strong political commitment supporting these exchanges.
Participants are particularly interested in innovative digital tools<\/strong> already implemented in some countries, such as TRESOR PAY<\/strong> and TRESOR MONEY<\/strong>. These solutions concretely demonstrate how digitalization can streamline public revenue collection<\/strong>, secure transactions<\/strong>, and simplify citizens\u2019 access to government financial services<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Cameroonian delegation at the forefront<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cameroon<\/strong> is represented by an official delegation led by Mr. Dama Wadili, Head of the IT Division of the Directorate General of the Treasury, Financial and Monetary Cooperation (DGTCFM)<\/strong>.
This presence reflects the country\u2019s commitment to draw inspiration from international best practices, share its expertise, and accelerate the modernization of the Cameroonian public Treasury<\/strong>.
Cameroon\u2019s participation aligns with the ongoing reforms in the digitalization of public finances<\/strong>, including the improvement of electronic payment systems<\/strong>, the dematerialization of certain procedures<\/strong>, and the strengthening of transaction security<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
