Specialisation Programme in Public Finance (PSSFP)<\/strong>, attached to the Faculty of Economics and Management (FSEG) of the University of Yaound\u00e9 II-SOA, for the academic year 2026-2027 \u2014 <strong>14<sup>th<\/sup> cohort<\/strong> of the programme.\r\n    <\/p>\r\n\r\n    <!-- \u2550\u2550\u2550 SECTION \u2013 REFORM \u2550\u2550\u2550 -->\r\n    <h2>A reform driven at the highest level of the State<\/h2>\r\n    <p>\r\n        The modernisation of the State, underway for several decades under the impetus of the Head of State, <strong>H.E. Paul BIYA<\/strong>, is reflected in particular in the university reform instituted by Law No. 2023\/007 of 25 July 2023 on the organisation of higher education, which highlighted the need to professionalise higher education, as well as in the financial reform enshrined in the 2018 law on the financial regime of the State, the implementation of which requires new professional adjustments.\r\n    <\/p>\r\n    <p>\r\n        This convergence of complementary needs led the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Higher Education and the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Yaound\u00e9 II SOA to renew, on 8 May 2024, the agreement establishing a <strong>Higher Institute of Public Finance<\/strong> in Cameroon. Created in October 2013, the PSSFP constitutes the first phase of this project and serves as a capacity-building tool for public and private sector staff in the field of public finance.\r\n    <\/p>\r\n\r\n    <!-- \u2550\u2550\u2550 SECTION \u2013 13 YEARS \u2550\u2550\u2550 -->\r\n    <h2>13 years of recognised expertise<\/h2>\r\n    <p>\r\n        Since its creation, the PSSFP has trained nine cohorts, representing on average more than <strong>1,200 graduates in public finance<\/strong>, from various public and private institutions, both nationally and internationally. The PSSFP is a centre of excellence for training senior executives responsible for providing strategic and operational support to the reform of public finance, in its budgetary, accounting and fiscal components.\r\n    <\/p>\r\n    <p>\r\n        Faced with increasingly pressing development challenges and the needs expressed by public administrations, a renewed training programme has been developed in collaboration with the FSEG of UYII-SOA.
