in the Extreme-North region. Under the theme \u00ab <em>Mastery of reforms and reinforcement of internal control for effective public management<\/em> \u00bb, this meeting brought together all public accountants of the constituency to address major challenges in modernising public finance management.\r\n    <\/p>\r\n\r\n    <p>\r\n        The proceedings were effectively chaired by <strong>Mr. MIDJIYAWA Bakari<\/strong>, Governor of the Extreme-North region, whose presence underscored the importance placed by the regional administrative authority on good local financial governance and support for Treasury services in their missions.\r\n    <\/p>\r\n\r\n    <p>\r\n        The Directorate General of the Treasury, Financial and Monetary Cooperation (DGTCFM) was represented by <strong>Mrs. CHEKAM Odette St\u00e9phanie \u00e9pse NDIBO<\/strong>, while the coordination of the work was ensured by <strong>Mr. ASSENE FOE Bertrand Armand<\/strong>, the local Treasurer-Paymaster General (TPG).\r\n    <\/p>\r\n\r\n    <!-- \u2550\u2550\u2550 SECTION 1 \u2500\u2500 -->\r\n    <h2>\ud83d\udccb Review of reforms and internal control challenges<\/h2>\r\n\r\n    <p>\r\n        During this working session, discussions focused on the progress of reforms undertaken within the Treasury network, challenges related to internal control, and the levers to ensure more rigorous, transparent, and effective public management at the level of the financial constituency.
