Sexual Harassment<\/h3><p style=\"font-size: 1rem; text-align: justify; margin-bottom: 1.5rem; line-height: 1.6; color: #333;\">Sexual harassment in work relations constitutes any behavior with sexual connotations or any other behavior based on sex which the perpetrator knows or should know affects a person&#8217;s dignity at work.<\/p><p style=\"font-size: 1rem; text-align: justify; margin-bottom: 1.5rem; line-height: 1.6; color: #333;\">Moreover, sexual harassment is the situation in which unwanted conduct of a sexual nature, expressed physically, verbally or non-verbally, occurs with the purpose or effect of violating a person&#8217;s dignity and, in particular, creating an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive environment.<\/p><p style=\"font-size: 1rem; text-align: justify; margin-bottom: 1.5rem; line-height: 1.6; color: #333;\">Sexual harassment is established in one of the following three cases:<\/p><p><\/p><ul style=\"background: white; padding: clamp(1rem, 2vw, 1.5rem) clamp(1.5rem, 3vw, 2rem); border-radius: 10px; border-left: 5px solid #1a2c3d; list-style: none; margin: 1.5rem 0; box-shadow: 0 2px 8px rgba(0,0,0,0.05);\"><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0.8rem; padding-left: 1.5rem; position: relative; color: #333;\"><span style=\"position: absolute; left: 0; color: #f2c230; font-size: 1.2rem; top: 0;\">\u25cf<\/span><br \/>The behavior is untimely, abusive and hurtful to the person subjected to it;<\/li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0.8rem; padding-left: 1.5rem; position: relative; color: #333;\"><span style=\"position: absolute; left: 0; color: #f2c230; font-size: 1.2rem; top: 0;\">\u25cf<\/span><br \/>The fact that a person rejects or accepts such behavior from a colleague or service user is used explicitly or implicitly as a basis for a decision affecting that person&#8217;s professional interests;<\/li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0; padding-left: 1.5rem; position: relative; color: #333;\"><span style=\"position: absolute; left: 0; color: #f2c230; font-size: 1.2rem; top: 0;\">\u25cf<\/span><br \/>Such behavior creates a climate of intimidation, hostility or humiliation towards the person subjected to it.<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"font-size: 1rem; text-align: justify; margin-bottom: 1.5rem; line-height: 1.6; color: #333;\">Under these conditions, the behavior can be physical, verbal or non-verbal, and the intentional element of the behavior is presumed.<\/p><p style=\"font-size: 0.95rem; text-align: justify; margin-bottom: 1.5rem; line-height: 1.6; font-style: italic; color: #666;\">(See sanctions in the Cameroonian Penal Code)<\/p><p><\/p><h3 style=\"font-size: clamp(1.2rem, 3vw, 1.5rem); color: #1a2c3d; background: linear-gradient(to right, #F2C230, rgba(242, 194, 48, 0.2)); padding: 1rem; border-radius: 8px; margin: 2.5rem 0 1.5rem 0; box-shadow: 0 3px 10px rgba(242, 194, 48, 0.3); font-weight: bold;\">II. Moral Harassment<\/h3><p style=\"font-size: 1rem; text-align: justify; margin-bottom: 1.5rem; line-height: 1.6; color: #333;\">Moral harassment in work relations constitutes any conduct which, through its repetition or systematization, undermines a person&#8217;s dignity or psychological or physical integrity. In this regard, French law states that <em>&#8220;no civil servant should be subjected to repeated acts of moral harassment which have the purpose or effect of degrading working conditions likely to infringe their rights and dignity, impair their physical or mental health or compromise their professional future.&#8221;<\/em><\/p><p style=\"font-size: 1rem; text-align: justify; margin-bottom: 1.5rem; line-height: 1.6; color: #333;\">Legal experts have identified five (5) types of behavior that may be classified as moral harassment:<\/p><p><\/p><ol style=\"background: white; padding: clamp(1rem, 2vw, 1.5rem) clamp(1.5rem, 3vw, 2rem); border-radius: 10px; border-left: 5px solid #F2C230; margin: 1.5rem 0; padding-left: clamp(2rem, 4vw, 3rem); box-shadow: 0 2px 8px rgba(0,0,0,0.05);\"><li style=\"margin-bottom: 1rem; line-height: 1.6; color: #333;\"><strong style=\"color: #1a2c3d;\">Preventing the person from expressing themselves.<\/strong> This can be reflected in particular by their exclusion from work meetings, by deprivation of telephone access;<\/li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 1rem; line-height: 1.6; color: #333;\"><strong style=\"color: #1a2c3d;\">Isolating the person<\/strong> by confining them, for example, to a very remote location;<\/li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 1rem; line-height: 1.6; color: #333;\"><strong style=\"color: #1a2c3d;\">Discrediting the victim<\/strong> in front of colleagues or third parties;<\/li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 1rem; line-height: 1.6; color: #333;\"><strong style=\"color: #1a2c3d;\">Undermining the victim&#8217;s work<\/strong> and in particular pushing the person concerned to make mistakes and drawing all the consequences;<\/li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0; line-height: 1.6; color: #333;\"><strong style=\"color: #1a2c3d;\">Compromising the victim&#8217;s physical or psychological health,<\/strong> which may lead to suicide.<\/li><\/ol><p><\/p><div style=\"background: linear-gradient(135deg, #1a2c3d, #2d4a5c); color: white; padding: clamp(1.5rem, 3vw, 2rem); border-radius: 15px; margin: 2rem 0; position: relative; font-style: italic; font-size: clamp(1rem, 2vw, 1.1rem); text-align: center; box-shadow: 0 10px 30px rgba(26, 44, 61, 0.3);\"><span style=\"position: absolute; top: 10px; left: 20px; font-size: clamp(3rem, 5vw, 4rem); color: #f2c230; font-family: serif; line-height: 0;\">&#8220;<\/span><p style=\"margin: 0; padding: 0 2rem;\">In conclusion, harassment is not only hierarchical.
