However, with the establishment of a single license for credit institutions within the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC), a credit institution that has obtained a license in a CEMAC member state has the right, if it so wishes, to \u201cextend its activity to Cameroon, establish a branch there, without being subject to the administrative formalities related to licensing. Only\u201d credit institutions licensed for at least two (02) years can benefit from the single license mechanism.
