impetus for public finance reform at the state level, driven by the <strong style=\"color: #1a2c3d;\">Harmonized Public Finance Management Framework Directives in the CEMAC Zone<\/strong>, Cameroon has embarked on the modernization of the budgetary and accounting framework for Public Establishments.\n\nIn terms of progress, the legal framework for PEs is being adapted with the signing of the decree concerning the <strong style=\"color: #1a2c3d;\">budgetary nomenclature for PEs<\/strong> and the one establishing the <strong style=\"color: #1a2c3d;\">accounting plan for PEs<\/strong> in <span style=\"color: #1a2c3d; font-weight: bold;\">August 2024<\/span>.\n\nOther texts include those concerning the <strong style=\"color: #1a2c3d;\">status and responsibilities of public accountants<\/strong> assigned to PEs, the <strong style=\"color: #1a2c3d;\">accounting standards for PEs<\/strong>, the <strong style=\"color: #1a2c3d;\">budgetary instruction for PEs<\/strong>, the <strong style=\"color: #1a2c3d;\">accounting instruction for PEs<\/strong>, and the <strong style=\"color: #1a2c3d;\">instruction on accountability<\/strong> for PE managers.\n<div style=\"background-color: #f2c230; color: #1a2c3d; padding: 15px; border-radius: 5px; margin: 20px 0; font-weight: bold; text-align: center;\">The effective transition of PEs into the public finance reform is projected for January 2026.<\/div>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold; margin-bottom: 15px;\">The extension of reforms to Establishments aims to achieve the following:<\/p>\n\n<div their specificities\n\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"background-color: #f8f9fa; padding: 15px; margin: 10px 0; border-left: 3px solid #1A2C3D;\">\n\n<strong style=\"color: #1a2c3d;\">Transparency<\/strong> in the budgetary and accounting management of PEs\n\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"background-color: #f8f9fa; padding: 15px; margin: 10px 0; border-left: 3px solid #1A2C3D;\">\n\n<strong style=\"color: #1a2c3d;\">Improved services<\/strong> for users\n\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"background-color: #f8f9fa; padding: 15px; margin: 10px 0; border-left: 3px solid #1A2C3D;\">\n\nThe production of <strong style=\"color: #1a2c3d;\">consolidated public
