Yaouba Abdoulaye: Minister Delegate to the Minister of Finance

The new Minister Delegate is holder of a Degree in Agricultural Engineering with minors in Economy and Agricultural Extension from the National Higher School of Agronomy of Yaounde (ENSA) in 1984. Yaouba Abdoulaye began his professional career at the Department of Agriculture at the Ministry of Agriculture. He later on served as Divisional Delegate of Agriculture in the Vina Division at Ngaoundere from 1984 to 1987 and later as Director General of the Mandara Mountains Integrated Development Authority (MIDIMA) from 1987 to 14 December 2006. In the meantime, he enhanced his knowledge in Management techniques of a Development Project through a monitoring-evaluation approach at the Institut Forum of la Rochelle in France in 1997. In 2001, he took a course in “Strategic Management in view to achieve change” still at the Institut Forum of La Rochelle in France.

After this enriching career, he entered the Government as Minister Delegate to the Minister of State in charge of the Ministry of Planning, Development Programming and Regional Development (MINPLAPDAT) from the 22 September 2006 to 07 September 2007. He thereafter served as Minister Delegate to the Minister the Economy, Planning and Regional Development (MINEPAT) from the 07 September 2007  uptill his appointment to the post of Minister Delegate to the Minister of Finance on the 02 March 2018.

Born some 60 years ago at Maroua in the Far-North Region, Yaouba Abdoulaye is married and father of six children.
